Close to 30 people attended the session at Temple Beth Ora (TBO), in Edmonton. Rabbi Gila Caine spoke about Reform Judaism as opposed to orthodox or conservative denominations and the members present shared the unique history of TBO since its formation in the late 70’s.

Our concept for this mural is to represent animals who used to live here in more abundance, before Edmonton grew so big. We decided to include the black bear, sturgeon, woodpecker, beaver, buffalo, and the wolf; all of them will be connected by the river as a source of life.
