A four-day conflict resolution training rooted in anti-oppression, emotional well-being, and organizational transformation. The training draws on the Dialogue for Peaceful Change (DPC) model, Righting Relations relational approaches, human rights-based dignity frameworks, and healing-centred, trauma-informed practices. Participants will be invited to explore the intersections of organizational conflict, power dynamics, and oppressive, inherited dynamics prevalent in the NPO sector. Throughout the training, participants will practice incorporating mediation and conflict engagement skills into their toolkit.
This session is for workers, managers, leaders, and board members in the non-profit sector who want to deepen their understanding of organizational and interpersonal conflict and enhance their ability to respond to it. Participants will explore how conflict manifests in the sector and practice mediation approaches grounded in a human rights anti-oppression framework.
