Hybrid learning series highlights food justice work & community partnerships
The Food Security & Food Justice Ecosystem of Edmonton (FSFJE) project aims to challenge assumptions, deepen understanding among food policy stakeholders, and provide tangible insights to guide more equitable systems design. The FSFJE is a growing collective of mutual aid groups, grassroots leaders, community organizations, and advocates committed to advancing food justice, sovereignty, and resilience in the city of Edmonton.
Through a collective recognition that access to food is a human right and that the current system is failing too many, the FSFJE has been presenting a series of discussion panels and learning sessions tackling various topics around food security and sovereignty.
