Human Rights & Freedoms: Dignity, Autonomy & Equity, a Trauma-Informed Perspective Workshop Series

A series of 4 workshops and an additional ad hoc session designed to assist, identify, and overcome many of the complex barriers when filing a Human Rights Claim. The workshops will promote equitable access to those most disproportionately represented; through inclusive representation, empowerment to participate, trauma informed practices, and cultural awareness. The half day interactive sessions are intended to promote a tangible, actionable and safe process for identifying and filing human rights related complaints.

Workshop 3: Grounding in Hell (June 18)

This half-day session combines grounding, meditation, and debrief practices with a guided walkthrough of online complaint processes for Alberta, RCMP, and federal systems. Participants will explore enforcement and conflict resolution at all levels and leave with tools for filing complaints, navigating systems, and maintaining personal well-being.

Other workshop dates: June 4, June 11, June 25
