Human Rights Advocacy Training Comes to Prince Albert

If you care about justice, community, and creating meaningful change, this is an opportunity worth stepping into.

The JHC is bringing its Human Rights Advocacy Intensive Training to Prince Albert, Saskatchewan this fall. Designed as a multi-day, hands-on experience, the training brings together community members, advocates, and emerging leaders who want to better understand how to challenge inequities and support those facing systemic barriers.

From October 6-8, participants will dive into practical tools for advocacy, from navigating human rights systems to developing real-world action plans rooted in anti-oppressive practices. Along the way, you’ll connect with others who share a commitment to building stronger, more equitable communities — because meaningful change rarely happens in isolation.

Whether you’re new to advocacy or already engaged in community work, this intensive offers something valuable: a chance to sharpen your approach, expand your network, and leave with concrete strategies you can apply right away. With options for subsidized participation, the training is also committed to accessibility, ensuring more voices can be part of the conversation.

Change begins with informed, connected people. If that sounds like you, consider taking the next step and registering today.
