September 16, 2025 | 10:00 - 11:30 AM MT | Online only via Zoom
The report Igniting Change on Canada’s Action Plan to End Gender-Based Violence offers a human rights-based look at Canada’s National Action Plan to End Gender-Based Violence, the gaps and strengths and the necessary action to move forward.
It highlights both the strengths and the gaps in the gender-based violence (GBV) sector, and it lays out a clear strategy for action. The focus is on mobilizing each of the Five Pillars of the plan in ways that put the needs and leadership of the most marginalized members of our communities at the centre.
Whether you are a service provider, policymaker, survivor, advocate, or community member, your thoughts and reflections around the finding and strategy are welcome. This report launch will give time for questions and conversation among stake holders, and we welcome all to join us!
