This afternoon workshop will provide advocates with an introduction to the architecture of human rights and the mechanisms that exist for human rights complaints to be heard provincially, federally and internationally. Advocates will learn to understand the idea of protected grounds and the protected area within the Alberta Human Rights Act and the Canadian Human Rights Act and gain practical experience in writing a complaint. This session is a foundational training to become a Stride Advocate.
