Paint the Rails Learning Circle - Metis Community

  • The Metis Nation of Alberta Association 11738 Kingsway Northwest Edmonton, AB, T5G 2Y5 Canada (map)

Paint the Rails is a unique partnership between the John Humphrey Centre for Peace and Human Rights (JHC) and Edmonton Transit (ETS) that brings important community stories to public spaces. Paint the Rails is a dynamic storytelling approach that transforms local stories into murals that reflect our diverse communities through art, dialogue and documentation.

We are pleased to engage diverse cultural and religious communities across our city to expand our understanding of home through stories of belonging and resilience. Join us for a monthly visit to various community spaces for cultural learning, storytelling and artistic collaboration. Work with our team to share your story and make your mark on this important legacy project.
