The Seen & Safe Truth Telling Circle in Ottawa invites immigrants and newcomers to Canada to share their experiences of online violence and discrimination. This circle will be held with care, inviting honest stories from those impacted by injustice, discrimination, and systems of power.
Guided by a human rights lens, we will listen and learn from one another in real time through discussion and art creation.
Let’s reflect on how to create a healthier online world for our community, inform tools to educate the public about safe digital practices, and contribute to policy outcomes that reflect the reality of online interactions.
Participation is free. A light lunch will be provided.
