Digital spaces aren't always safe, but your voice can help change that.
The John Humphrey Centre for Peace and Human Rights (JHC) and RARICANow! invite young people in Edmonton who identify as 2STQLGBIA+ to share their experiences with online violence (tech-facilitated gender based violence, or TFGBV).
If you are between 16 and 30 years old, join us to connect, create, and speak your truth with sound designer and musician Kena León.
Let’s sit together and reflect on how to create a healthier online world for our community, inform tools to educate young people about safe practices, and contribute to policy outcomes that reflect the reality of online interactions.
Date: July 25, 2026, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.
Location: Edmonton - venue is centrally located and wheelchair-accessible, with gender-neutral washrooms. The location will be provided upon registration.
