The Food Security & Food Justice Ecosystem of Edmonton (FSFJE) invites you to join this upcoming film showcase and storytelling session. Speakers from the Self Advocacy Federation will help the audience better understand the current realities of persons living with disabilities and their lived experience of poverty and food insecurity.
About the Film: “Food Dignity & Disability”
Produced by the Self Advocacy Federation (SAF) with the support of John Humphrey Centre for Peace and Human Rights, the film aims to demonstrate how AISH recipients must manage external influences that impact the ability of people to get food that meets their dietary needs.
This event will be held in a HYBRID format, both in-person at the ArtsHub Ortona, and online via Zoom.
