Pathways to Justice: Strengthening Legal Advocacy for Police Accountability
This is a public event commemorating National Victims and Survivors of Crime Week.
This hybrid gathering will bring together legal professionals, community advocates, and justice-focused organizations to explore legal avenues for advancing police accountability in Canada.

Through roundtable discussions, workshops, and meaningful dialogue, we will explore systemic barriers, emerging legal strategies, and opportunities for reform. Together, we aim to strengthen collaboration, share insight, and build legal advocacy that responds to the urgent need for transparency and oversight in law enforcement.

Collective Legal Action – Exploring class action lawsuits, Indigenous legal responses, and systemic litigation
Oversight & Accountability – Strengthening the role of Boards, Agencies, and Commissions in police oversight
