We have a Victim’s Bill of Rights in Canada.

Just what does that mean and how can it work to help our community?

This full day training will equip you with a understanding and knowledge of victim’s rights and how these rights can be applied to support victims of crime.

10:30 am Introduction to Victims Rights: the Victim’s Bill of Rights and relevant Charter Provisions

12 pm Lunch and Break

1 pm The Applicability of Victim’s Rights and the Current Climate - Frank Conversations with Robert Lee

Robert P. Lee, a legal expert on the Victim's Bill of Rights, will share the tools you need to advocate for your rights when you’re a victim of crime. https://www.victimsrightslaw.ca/

3:30 pm Closing

 

Participants who complete an additional 12 hours as Stride Advocates will receive a certificate.
