Cultural Competency Training Programs

The John Humphrey Centre offers diversity training programs for educational institutions and private companies to ensure they create strong team environments that respect the value of all.

Workshop Facilitator: Chelsea Freeborn

Chelsea Freeborn is the Intercultural Programs Coordinator at the John Humphrey Centre for Peace and Human Rights. She began her career as a teacher, working as a specialist for ESL students in the Edmonton Public School System. She holds her Masters Degree in Intercultural and International Education. Furthermore, she has received advanced facilitation training through the ICA Associates as well as Training for Change. At the Centre, Chelsea is responsible for the coordination and implementation of programming and activities that address diversity, cultural competency, education and anti-racism.
